A perfect stay

Liked: Had a perfect stay. Our room had a lovely view looking out towards the hills, whilst an old building it has been tastefully renovated and was clean throughout. All the staff were friendly and attentive, the food served in the restaurant and at breakfast was wonderful, being mainly locally sourced. The hotel has a cosy feel, it is in a quiet location, yet easy to reach without the need to drive down a load of narrow lanes! If you want a relaxing break with great food, I fully recommend Tottington Manor.
Disliked: Nothing.

A great stay that sets...

Liked: Location was lovely, relatively rural with typical Downs views full of livestock. We arrived at dusk and was greeted by very friendly staff, couldn't do enough for you.. Room was very clean and functional for the properties age.Breakfast (included in our price) was an experience to behold, a bespoke tea platter, and an excellently presented South Downs (English) delivered again by great staff.
Disliked: Light in bathroom a little dim for make-up application and temperature of shower could be a little unstable.

Beautiful location but book early...

Liked: Loved the location, view and comfy bed.
Disliked: Price, it was over priced for what it was. Having looked at other dates it is often priced significantly less but we booked last minute and it was the last room left. Breakfast whilst delicious was a little haphazard with the service.

Exceptional

Liked: Lovely place with beautiful views.
Disliked: People with dogs are forced to eat in a sitting room rather than the restaurant. The chairs were too low for eating and most uncomfortable. This was rather strange for an otherwise very dog friendly establishment. Bar very pricey.
