Very enjoyable to stay there,...

Liked: Beautiful area, nice and quiet and extremely clean all around
Disliked: There’s nothing bad to say about the property.

Liked: Very comfortable stay.
Disliked: Heat pump to high, taking to long to heat bottom floor.

Disliked: the air con was up int he top room when if it were at least half way heating wouldve reached downstairs it was cold when we stayed other wise all good with everything else

Overall it was just perfect...

Liked: Our stay at Totara lodge was really good. Facilities were nice and clean. Staff was great. Good location.
Disliked: The beds were too soft. I felt that we were sinking in to the bed. Unsure if its something that I am not used to. We were in the duplex which had the upstairs as well. The air con unit was not sufficient to warn the whole place. There was an oil heater also available which did the job. But took sometime to warm the whole unit. There was also really loud party noise that went on till 3am in the morning. Unsure if this was coming from within the lodge or outside. Kept us awake.

Just what we needed.

Liked: Just what we needed for our weekend as we were in UpperHutt for a celebration and very busy.
Disliked: We couldn’t fault it.
