Liked: Clean good restaurants close by, walking distance to main plazas
Disliked: No wash clothes for showers could not get English subtitles on tv

Disappointing

Liked: Good breakfast, good location
Disliked: I have no idea what kind of place this actually is and honestly, it seems a bit shady. Location wise it’s quite good as it is just right outside the historic center of Bologna in easy walking distance with a parking spot right outside the building.However, the rooms are in a dark (public?) housing complex spread over 3 apartments that are next to each other. They all have a thick fire safety door at the entrance.We were led to our room which was actually one of two rooms in a separate apartment - yes, they have a door you can lock and an ensuite bathroom but it still feels like you are sharing an apartment with an unknown person. However, we were told that no one would be in the other bedroom that night so we have the place all to ourselves. So the surprise (and shock) was big when suddenly at 12:30 am two people burst into the apartment with lots of noise and decided on having a small party in the kitchen outside until we told them to shut up. It feels more like a hostel than a B&B. Our room and bathroom was also pretty dirty with a big mould stain below the AC, dust, hair between the towels etc. The windows are all locked with bars outside so not really sure what happens in case of a fire or other emergency.When we complained after the first turbulent night we got “upgraded” to the “junior suite” which is basically a separate apartment that you don’t have to share with anyone else. It was super noisy from the upstairs neighbours and still not very clean but definitively better. The staff really tried their best as they felt how distressed we were from what happened the night before.The breakfast is served in the third apartment which houses 5 more double rooms. It is more on the sweet side but prepared in a nice way but the owner who prepares it always feels pretty stressed and distracted. The second morning she asked us if we wanted scrambled eggs which we confirmed but we never got them in the end as she then focused on five other things.

Good location, clean and convenient.

Liked: Good location - 15 minutes walk to old town, also near the railway station. Clean comfortable room. There is one room in this apart hotel that has external bathroom which is outside the room and cannot be locked from outside with the key, so when you are not using it theoretically someone else can use it. This was okay for us but next time we would book other room with bathroom inside. Breakfast was good, maybe not the great choice but some cakes, berries and scramble eggs by request were fresh and tasty.

Liked: The breakfast was excellent, everything fresh and prepared with care, according to each person's needs and wishes. It was also very varied.The room was very comfortable and spacious. Everything was very clean and pleasant, including the bathroom, which was cleaned daily, and the room as well.Very good location, close to the central station and also within walking distance to the center.
Disliked: i don't have anything bad to say

Liked: Very nice and modern room. Owner treated us very well with homemade breakfast and many options.
Disliked: Personally I don’t mind but it’s good to know that the room is in a shared apartment of 4 bedrooms (private bathroom). We enjoyed our stay there and it was a good price- quality stay but perhaps someone would like more privacy.

Unmanned reception and no access...

Liked: The owners had obviously gone to a lot of effort to make it attractive and comfortable. It was good to have tea and coffee facilities although there was no milk but this seems to be the norm.There's a great selection of cakes and pastries at breakfast if you like that kind of thing.
Disliked: The reading lights were too dim to read by..Our main problem was we had been given a set of keys to get back into the room but our suitcases were in the reception area, And none of the keys fitted the reception door. So finallywe had to phone, and our call was greeted with imparience and then they gave us a code to get into the reception.... by which time we were too late for the train.
