The Spotlight on Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel

Stay in the Heart of the Action at Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel

Modern comfort meets unbeatable location at the Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel, a polished 4-star stay nestled inside the iconic Rogers Centre. Whether you're catching a show, a game, or just soaking up the energy of downtown Toronto, this hotel places you right in the middle of it all. With Mediterranean dining, an indoor pool, and views of the stadium, it’s a unique stay that blends convenience with style.

Why Concert-goers love it

You really can’t get closer to the action—this hotel is located inside the Rogers Centre, making it a dream for anyone attending concerts or events there. Even if your show’s at another venue nearby, you’re within walking distance of Toronto’s buzzing Entertainment District and the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Late check-out at 12:00 PM lets you sleep in after a night out, and the quiet, well-insulated rooms offer a peaceful retreat from the downtown buzz.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends planning a night out at the stadium or nearby venues
  • Solo travelers catching a must-see tour stop
  • Couples turning a concert into a weekend getaway
  • Fans who want a quiet, comfortable space after the encore
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who want value without sacrificing location

Food and Drink Options

Arriba, the on-site Mediterranean restaurant, is perfect for dinner before the show or a laid-back breakfast after a late night. While 24/7 room service isn’t available, the hotel’s prime location puts you just steps from late-night eats and casual spots in the Entertainment District. Breakfast is available with select packages, ideal for a slow start the next day.

Nightlife Options

You’re surrounded by nightlife here—walk to cozy pubs, slick cocktail lounges, or high-energy clubs. While the hotel doesn’t host live music itself, its proximity to Toronto’s best bars and music venues means the night doesn’t have to end when the show does. Afterward, retreat to your room for a quiet wind-down.

What People Say

Guests love the hotel’s unbeatable location and the unique thrill of staying inside a major stadium. Many reviews mention the spacious, clean rooms, helpful staff, and the convenience of walking to major attractions. Travelers also appreciate the comfy beds and quiet atmosphere despite the central location.

Areas for Improvement

Parking is available but comes with a surcharge, and some guests mention it can be a bit tricky to navigate. Rooms are traditionally styled—great for comfort, though maybe not ultra-modern. And breakfast packages only cover two adults, so plan ahead if you're in a larger group.

The Bottom Line

For concert-goers who want a stylish, stress-free stay within walking distance of Toronto’s top venues, the Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel hits all the right notes.

Diana, Chatham, visiting Lower Ossington Theatre

On arriving to your hotel I went to check in. The lady I had was very gruff. I told her that I was told breakfast was included in our stay and she preceded to tell me it was not. I asked if she was sure as I was told that it was when I had called - she assured me it was not. I let that go, then she proceeded to tell me that the gym and the pool were closed, under renovation. I said I was very disappointed in this - my daughter, myself and my friend had all brought our bathing suits and it was one of the reasons we had chosen this hotel. I conveyed this to the lady and she said we could use the sister hotel down the street for free. I explained that I did not feel comfortable for 3 young ladies to walk alone down the streets of Toronto at night to go to the other hotel. She basically said 'oh well, it is what it is'. I was livid, so I said that then for the inconvenience she should include breakfast and she said no. I have stayed at the Renaissance before and I have had breakfast there before, but I can assure you I will not choose to stay there next time we visit Toronto which I must say is frequently.

Liked: We were very disappointed.
Disliked: The pool; the service; the gym.

Very nice Hotel, exceptional rooms,...

Liked: The hotel and staff were very nice, the room was exceptional, beautiful and very clean It was close to everything and could not be any more convenient to the CN tower or to attend a Blue Jays game. I highly recommend a stay here.
Disliked: For such a nice hotel, the breakfast was disappointing. It was the same food that you would receive at any other hotel that offers a free breakfast, only it was expensive and had tater tots instead of potatoes, which in my option is a lower grade food, even if you ordered off the menu it came with tator tots and most of what's on the buffet.

If you're a baseball lover,...

Liked: The view overlooking the ball field is SO amazing and a must do! The city view was fine also and the rooms were both very nice! We enjoyed our experience here very much and loved the convenience to get around to see Toronto's sites.
Disliked: It was a little costly but again loved the convenience and the views of the ball field are so fun to experience. The restaurant was nicely located and convenient however the quality of food was just subpar for appetizers. The nachos were kind of a joke for the cost. The amount of chicken on them was very small and not worth the cost. It would be nice to have a great convenience but great quality of food to go with the price and convenience. The breakfast however for my son who is 11 and $10 was superb and very much appreciated. The hostess even gave me a cup of coffee to enjoy (at no cost) while I sat with him to eat. Thank you, that was probably the most generous and made the trip extra special. ( I can't remember her name)
