Liked: The evening meal and breakfast were excellent even did runny boiled eggs with soldiers , and the staff were extremely helpful and so happy and nothing was too much trouble
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: The breakfast was beautiful and had a beautiful outdoor setting. The bar was well stocked! Had a great sleep, the bed was really comfy.

Splendid country hotel.

Liked: Lovely big room with two superb armchairs and excellent, period furniture. The food was superb. Delicious breakfasts were cooked to order. We dined at the hotel each night and the dinners were excellent.
Disliked: A small issue. I am in my 80s and the climb in and out of the high bath to have a shower was a daily challenge. We could have had a room with a walk in shower, but our own room was otherwise so good that we persevered.

Liked: Breakfast was excellent. We dined on one evening , which was also very good,
Disliked: my only slight criticism was that my choice of milk for breakfast, skimmed, was not available. They only stock full fat milk. They did have a choice of oat milk etc. Also the television in the room was so small and antiquated that you could not see the ‘guide’ and it was not a big room.
