Tor-Na-Coille Hotel

A nice hotel, but not...

Liked: Dinner, well presented, tasty, attentive staff. reception staff welcoming and helpful
Disliked: Room was dark, smallest Tv ever seen in a hotel, duvet was far too heavy for summer use, didn't get a good nights sleep, too hot. Breakfast buffet cramped on to the bar, no room to put down a plate, fruit juices all finished, had a wait for refill, table service of cooked breakfast very slow.

Liked: The staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful
Disliked: The hotel is old and tired, the new owners have a lot of work to do (new carpet, new beds, new plumbing, new hot water facilities) which will, hopefully, include reverse air conditioners so they can heat AND cool. Be different please, think differently, do differently - not the same " we've always done it like this "

Liked: Very attractive, nice garden, lovely staff , very good dinner and breakfast .Generously proportioned room and en suite
Disliked: Decor was a tiny bit gloomy and bath panel needed to be replaced

Liked: Perfect location for us .
Disliked: The self service breakfast selection could have been broader.

Liked: Very quiet. Super room. Food was excellent.
Disliked: No issues.
