Topaz Motel - Flagler Beach

Good

Liked: The staff is very nice and the location is great.
Disliked: The main building does need some upkeep but it's not too bad for the money. We enjoy staying there. It's definitely not a 5 ⭐ but we enjoy it there.

Rooms need massive upgrades

Disliked: Room was old and stunk of marijuana Bathroom had mold and grime in shower/tub and holes in the wall. Felt like someone was always watching me

Horrible get away

Liked: Property was extremely run down.our room was disgusting as a number of problems dirty bath tub.holes In wall where something was mounted at 1 time .bath exhaust not working as the fan was loaded with dirt and no battery in smoke detector.no coffee maker or microwave.the price we paid was fair but what we received is different management blames the booking site we used.

It was a miserable trip.

Disliked: We has AC problems they came one time to fix it worked a little told them again said they were sending someone and no one showed. So our room was very warm and couldn’t sleep well. My sister and her family and my mother was next door and they had cockroaches.

Liked: I liked the view from my door
Disliked: I didn’t like that my key barely worked, the door barely opened, the security lock on the door didn’t work. Our room was dirty, the floors were slippery from all the dirt and grim. The bathroom baseboards were covered in dirt and hair. Our connecting door the next room was sealed with blue painters tape. The couch was missing covers but the covers had towels over and tucked in. I would not recommend this hotel
