Delightful stay that exceeded our...

Liked: Location, character, cleanliness, quietness, free car parking and a lovely breakfast.
Disliked: Nothing. We loved it but it is on a busy road and can be a bit tricky turning into the car park.

good calue, basic and clean

Liked: good value, i was downstairs , easy parking and train station 3 minute walk

Liked: Even though the building was a little tired, the accommodation was clean, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was adequate.

Superb

Liked: The hotel was originally built as a large home in the late 1800's. It was sold and refurbished as hotel accommodation. There is no lift, but the wooden staircase is charming and leads to large and comfortable bedrooms upstairs. It is more like an Airbnb than a hotel. The manager is very welcoming and helpful. It is close to public transport and with in walking distance of restaurants and supermarkets. It is just the sort of place in which my partner and I like to stay.
Disliked: I liked everything.
