Liked: Lovely location and building, reception area is very nice and the bedroom was spacious
Disliked: Once away from reception it was apparent that the hotel was run down and needed work. Our room was shabby and needed a deep clean. The bathroom and decor stuck in the seventies and there were cracks in the tiles and walls.

Liked: It was a great location for us. It was a comfortable bed and the room had coffee etc and a hairdryer. The girl who served the breakfast was lovely.
Disliked: The English breakfast was awful. Very poor value for £15 each. The sausages and bread were particularly cheap and not nice. It was also cold except for the mushrooms. The hotel doesn’t serve pork and I’ve no problem with that but it should be made clear when booking breakfast. The hotel lacked atmosphere.
