Awesome place to stay, big...

An expensive, but VERY NICE...
Liked: We tried to have breakfast, but they were very backed up. There was also very slow service at the bar. I think they were understaffed, especially considering it was Stagecoach weekend.
Disliked: They should have had more staff for breakfast/lunch in the Grapefruit Basil restaurant and bar. Other than that, the bartender at night was very good and the property was wonderful.

Really disappointing
Disliked: Very expensive room, noisy AC, rough linens, bad menu, no caffeinated coffee pods in the room , no sundries available like lip balm or sunscreen in the lobby shop. Overall just not good.

Stay away and spend your...
Liked: We booked this hotel for a restful and pleasant weekend after a busy work week, based on amazing reviews and pictures. Could not have been more disappointed! I am giving 2 starts for pretty nice grounds and fairly clean place. The rest was just bad and I regret spending my money for a stay at this hotel. You are better off staying at the Esmeralda or the Hyatt across the street.
Disliked: 1. The staff - these ppl clearly do not want to work. At check in the front desk person could not care less, just gave us the keys and told us nothing about the property, wifi, dining options - nada. Just here is your key, leave me alone.**The golf cart guys were nice**We attempted to have breakfast at the on site restaurant - many hotel workers walking around but the look on their faces was "do not ask me anything". We were directed to a table by a clearly unhappy hostess and sat there for about 30 min not being able to place an order. A waiter named Michael finally came by to pour us some water and said absolutely nothing - no greeting, no "I will be right with you" or "we are short handed today, please give me some time" - nothing but with the same look on his face "do not ask me for anything". Then he went to a table that was seated after us with the same face but these ppl started asking him how he was and he just said "WELL." They responded back to him and that somehow turned into him taking their orders. At this point we dropped our menus and left. During the entire stay we ate outside of the hotel - do yourself a favor and go eat at the Hyatt across the street - service is impeccable!Pool staff - that is such a fail. Nobody refreshing the pool towels (hours went by without any towels available) and to order something you have to go to the counter and stay in a long line. The bartenders are clearly on some island time - not in a rush whatsoever. what is the problem of hiring an extra bartender and a waiter walking around taking orders?Some guests at the pool were horribly loud - nobody reacted.2. PAPER THIN WALLS - if you are planning on resting - this is not the place.
