Good stay

Liked: Clean bedrooms nice breakfast
Disliked: Signage to Hotel could be much clearer. It is very easy to wonder into the pub next door when parked in the upper carpark

Liked: Nice bar/restaurant and good location. Staff were really helpful and friendly
Disliked: Room was a bit small but fine for a weekend.

Fantastic

Disliked: I absolutely love the hotel.The staff were incredible, the food was magnificent, however.The floor boards In the room next door creaked and so did the landing, obviously the people walking up and down kept me awake but overall I can't complain.

You get what you pay...

Liked: Good breakfast, attentive staff and the place was very clean and well maintained. Though the property is very old, they have attempted to provide everything. Being small, the WC and shower are separated, but they are functional. We were in the largest room, and it was rather small. There is sufficient parking on the property.
Disliked: The unit is located above the restaurant, but the noise does not affect upstairs. The room is very small, so that one is aware. No place to keep bags or closet. The fridge is shared and in the corridor outside. The wifi does not reach upstairs, but it works well in the rest of the property.

Great all round place

Liked: The staff were very helpful from the minute we arrived to us leaving. The food was great. I would certainly recommend this place to others to be used as a stop over.

Excellent stay with the best...

Liked: All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. The quality of food, both breakfast and dinner, was excellent. We were going to eat out in the evening but ended up eating in every night. Really good value for money and great location for our needs.
Disliked: The bed creaked!

Good value and food.

Liked: We chose the location because we had a wedding at Peckforton castle. The price was very good and we had a nice meal in the evening and a great breakfast.
Disliked: The rooms are very small. There is no air conditioning but the window opens and provided some cool air.
