Exceptional

Liked: The Toll House Inn is well decorated and quaint. The rooms are clean and neat with extras like a hairdryer and hangers included. The bar/restaurant was busy but never noisy. Breakfast was wonderful and portions are large. We would have loved to stay for longer and would go back any time.
Disliked: Nothing! Staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. We had a terrific stay and would highly recommend the Toll House Inn.

Lovely historic hotel with great...

Liked: We stayed for two nights and the staff couldn't have been nicer. They moved us so we had two rooms together as my elderly mum was with us and originally on another floor and the rooms were lovely and comfortable. It's central enough to visit the sights but not right in the middle of everything so it was quiet. We stayed on a Sunday and Monday night. The dinner in the hotel was really good and the bar had a nice atmosphere too. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Disappointing

Liked: Evening arrival, service and dinner was excellent. Room was clean and facilities were good. Woken in the night with poor plumbing (noisy pipes) and guest returning late (lots of noise). Breakfast was good but service poor. Wait was too long and staff not attentive.
Disliked: Poor plumbing (noise) and noise form guest returning late. Very poor service at breakfast
