TLH Victoria Hotel Apartment Torquay

Liked: Location was good 5-10 minutes to the beach.
Disliked: Rooms were basic and hotel layout wasnt family friendly. We had 2 Littleones 6 & 1. There were so many staircases steps and doors in the hallways it was a nightmare to get a buggy around. The hotel was really run down. From the pictures it looks like a family hotel but more like an old person's retreate. Full of ballrooms. The hotel apartment had cracked tiles in the bathroom, a pannel covering the radiator which was loose, an old leak in the lounge which left a stain on the wall paper. The lounge door only opens from the inside so when our boy decided to shut it thankfully I left the lounge window was open and I could climb back in!Kitchen cold tap is more like warm so you haft to use the bathroom just to make a cold drink. The soft play area was OK but smelt like an old pub.. and for the arcade well 5/20 machines were actually switched on and working.. for this week we spend most days out of the hotel and didn't even bother with the evening entertainment as it was mainly bingo and live singing.. again nothing for the children to do. For the money we paid I would rather go back to butlins. 3.5hr drive wasted.

Disliked: It wasn’t clear that you had to pay for parking if booked through booking.com

Rubbish

Liked: Tv didn’t even work in the room they were unable to fix it , wouldn’t do any thing in terms of partial re fund went to bed to watch movies couldn’t even do that , knew we should of just stayed at the premier inn , more fool me.
Disliked: Tv could of worked , duty manager could of called me later that day as promised , they just told us what we wanted to hear to get rid of us

Liked: We loved the apartment. The entertainment fantastic
Disliked: The clubs for kids needs ages shown on time table. A very upset 7 year old crying she couldn’t do clay with 10 year old sisters.
