The place to be fo...
Liked: The hotel used to be the draughtsman rooms and office of Harland & Wolf and I loved how they transfomed it into a hotel with so much charme. Parts of the hotel seemed to be a museum of its own and it was so fascinating to see how the building and its history was kept together in its authenticity with a modern classy look. It was terrific to sit in the breakfast room where the Titanic was planned and designed. The bed was sooo comfortable and the breakfast was a highlight on its own. The staff was super friendly. I loved the TV which also offered its own Titanic channel with dodumentaries and interviews of the Titanic 24/7. If you are enthusiastic about the Titanic you get so much value for your money. The hotel is directly opposite the Titanic Museum. The car park is underneath the museum and you get a discount at the hotel and only pay 15 Pounds for a stay overnight

Superb
Liked: Great location, lots to see and do in titanic Qtr; the Drawing Room 2 bar was excellent place to hang out. The hotel itself has features of a museum to the Titanic, very interesting displays on the walls etc. Parking was easy nearby, if a little expensive.
Disliked: We had dinner in the restaurant the first evening; food ok but not fab (had better elsewhere in the city), atmosphere dark

Liked: It was close by to the SSE Arena and walking distance into the town centre
Disliked: Room wasn’t cleaned properly there was dried milk on some of the drawer handles, iron left black stains on my partners shirt and there was black marks on one of the walls

Liked: Breakfast times were very well organised the waitresses were excellent and never stopped working, checking on guests, very impressive. On The Wednesday night I asked for a table in the bar and had to wait about three quarters of an hour, bit chaotic as there was a concert on in the SSE that night and the staff were trying their best but too many people there. I went to my room and rang for room service......I'm still waiting on someone to answer. Overall it was an excellent stay. The hotel has retained the original building from Titanic days and the draughtsman room for the drawing of the Titanic is now the bar. Beautiful hotel full of history. There is a tour of the origins of the hotel but I had ran out of time. The Titanic exhibition is just a few yards from the front door of the hotel and it is a must to see, very sad.

So much potential, but lacking...
Liked: Love the history and heritage of the hotel - a magnificent story to tell
Disliked: 1. The shower in room 136 was awful. Water from it took too long to warm up, and squirted in all directions apart from the right one.2. The bed was too spongy.3. We dined in DR no.2. Half the staff took a break at 5pm with no substitutes, causing a backlog in service.4. The hot items on the breakfast buffet were cold - the scrambled egg especially so.On their own these items can be overlooked, but combined in a 4-star hotel - not good enough and need to be addressed
