New York was wonderful but...

Liked: The room was nice and the bar had a great selection.
Disliked: The door staff never asked if we needed help but did ask others around us. When we go there we really weren't greeted and while they were telling others checking in about the property they didn't us nor show us around. We also had a $35 a night voucher but it was never applied even when asked. The staff was nice to people they thought had money while we are very wealthy but dont flaunt it and were not treated the same

Great place for a theater...

Liked: For a NY, Times Square hotel room, it was reasonably spacious for 2 people, and very well designed. We could see a bit of Times Square, but it wasn't too noisy, despite being on a lower floor (17).
Disliked: I hate the stupid resort fees. It's just an extra $35 charge, which we never get back -- we're not big drinkers, and the restaurant prices are exorbitant, you end up spending more than the $35 for two people. So we just think of it as extra cost.

Adequate but wouldn’t stay again

Liked: Location is great. Right in the heart of Times Square. Loved the outdoor patio space and the lobby bar. The room was very clean
Disliked: The room was very small…almost too small to fit my husband and I. The decor was basic but not in a Scandanacian minimalist asthetic..it felt and looked cheap.

Most expensive budget hotel.

Liked: It was clean and staff was very helpful and friendly.
Disliked: It is not a 5 star hotel. It is expensive budget hotel with minimal small rooms, basic IKEA style furniture and you miss a lot of 5 star service. You will pay 9 dollar for a 500 gr bottle of water.Once you go out from the hotel, you will have emotional damage of smell, dirtiness and business of the Times Square.

Liked: The location and the restaurant
Disliked: The rooms are tiny cubicles with a curtain separating the bathroom..AWFUL. Cheap finishes. Prices in the bar and restaurant are too high, with cocktails at $30. Cafe Boulud, the current best restaurant in town, charges much less and there is no comparison.
