Very good

Liked: Modern hotel with beautifully appointed rooms and reception spaces.
Disliked: Whilst the hotel is well situated for Union Square , shopping and the Cable Car/Trolley Bus stops, the streets around the hotel - Turk, Eddy, Taylor and Mason - are a hotbed for druggies and vagrants, with groups becoming noisy at night.

Great hotel but poor location

Liked: Very friendly staff, really looked out for you and were very nice and helpful. Also the rooms were very spacious and beautiful
Disliked: The location. It is in quite a bad neighborhood, did not dare to leave the hotel to early in the morning or late at night

Lovely room. View ruined by...

Liked: Breakfast was fine. Bed was very comfortable
Disliked: The stay was marred by two things. Firstly the windows were so filthy that it really showed. We had paid extra for a corner room with lots of windowa and the condition of the windows and their filthiness (outside) really impinged on this. The second issue was being charged a random $40 a night fee. When I challenged this, I was told that it was to cover the "free wifi" among other things. This is outrageous. When I complained the front desk couldnt justify the fee and they told me that they had dscussed the windows and they were being cleaned next month. I paid hundreds of dollars for a special room and I am not staying next month, so it was totally irrelevant to me.

Liked: Clean, modern and very comfortable.
Disliked: The zombie apocalypse right outside from all the drugged up transient people. Very sad to see.

Good experience but a some...

Liked: The design of the rooms, the excellent location
Disliked: The breakfast.Poor choice, actually no choice and expensive for the quality.How is it possible: either orange juice or coffee? The coffee should be granted for this price !!!
