Excellent hotel!

Liked: Smart, elegant, comfortable rooms.Huge bed. Huge shower, great toiletries. Helpful, friendly staff.
Disliked: Windows don't open.

Liked: Beautiful art deco type hotel in a perfect central location on George Street, a road which is filled with tasteful shops and restaurants.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: The staff were absolutely standout. It was my 10 year old sons first time in Edinburgh and he was blown away, the girls at reception were amazing, they gave us a perfect room, were always smiling, helped with directions, gave tips on where to eat and genuinely were the best of anywhere I have stayed. The whole hotel is breathtakingly beautiful, and everyone we met was super friendly from the bar staff to the cleaning staff and girl greeting people entering the restaurant. We got a great deal as this hotel would usually be outside budget, but I will have to return as it was so good. We didn't need a firestick as the tv already has every app you could need. The mini bar fridge was well stocked. There was lots of room for storage, the bathroom was amazing with my favourite addition of robes, and there were high-end straighteners and hairdryer we had a sitting area with two armchairs that were really cool for chilling in. The bed was ridiculously comfy, no noise and wonderfully clean. We didn't eat here as our adventures took us to the other side of the city so we ate there but the food looked great too.
Disliked: Nothing it was perfect.

Disliked: Breakfast poor. I didn't see a Breakfast bar unless I missed it ? Usually there is a area where you can get fruit & cereal but we were just offered a cooked breakfast with juice & tea. It's the first hotel I have stayed at with very little option.

Liked: Fantastic staff, room was amazing (got a suprise upgrade) bar and cocktails were really good too. Definitely will come back
