Liked: Super relaxing, the room was updated and very clean.

Liked: Updated room, comfy bed, nice and clean. Microwave and coffee maker. The balcony / view of the water was very nice. Saw several good birds right from our room.
Disliked: No complaints.

Adequate, but disappointing no breakfast...

Liked: Whatever the site lacked in terms of friendliness of desk staff, awkward layout of room, was more than made up for by location and view. We had a delightful time in Port Townsend and would consider this place for a night's stay again.
Disliked: Desk staff were at the very least, not grateful to see us, or see us go. Check-in staff was definitely better than check-out.

Disliked: The pictures and description of this facility on booking.com were new and fresh. The building we were put in when we arrived was not pictured in the description on booking.com. It was very old and in disrepair on the outside. The deck wobbled under our feet, the railing was frail. The exterior paint was chipping in large sheets, rolling off the wood. The access to the beach was broken and cracked (concrete). The description on booking.com included pet-friendly rooms and complimentary breakfast. When we arrived we were told we were not allowed to bring our dog and the breakfast had been cancelled. They did let us bring our dog, which was nice but the whole exchange was super awkward and unwelcoming. I had called earlier to confirm about the dog and the person I spoke with couldn't advise me on the pet options (she seemed overwhelmed by the question). Two other staff people were polite and helpful. A disappointing experience.The two updated buildings that housed the majority of guests seemed lovely and possibly worth the expense, but where they put us was a real trick.
