Liked: Room size.
Disliked: Pool area and spa underwhelming. Paying for towel use. Housekeeping was a change of towels only.

Liked: Beautiful place, beautiful surroundings and plenty for the kids to do
Disliked: Every thing you need in the apartment and lovely and clean

Liked: It was lovely and set in beautiful surroundings the apartment number 3 had everything we needed and with a lovely garden view
Disliked: Just a couple of little niggles the blind in our room 3 was awkward to pull up and didn’t pleat up right and no extractor fan in bathroom And just general scuffed paintwork in dining area Of the restaurant and rusty radiators in swimming pool area

Relaxing, quiet, friendly, peaceful. Perfect!

Liked: The grounds, the facilities and the overall setup was quite unique and refreshing.
Disliked: It wasn’t totally clear how the self-serviced apartments worked, but no complaints on that.

Our favorite place.

Liked: Thurnham Hall is splendid in every way: location, the buildings, facilities, and service. Our studio was spacious, had all relevant kitchen appliances including hob and grill (even though these weren’t used), and had superior furniture—compared to the inferior ikea-type in many other places. We loved many special things, like the expansive green spaces of every sort around us, the pool, excellent service, and the serenity. It’s a special place.
Disliked: We didn’t like the fact that our ‘double’ bed was actually two single beds laid side by side, and without a topper to at least remove the space between.Next time we will check in on this before arrival.
