Nice but with reservation

Liked: Room-no transport to the rooms like a golf cart - they are a little remote and in the rain it is problematic, as well as carrying bags to a fro. Alo there needs to be net curtains - it is either fully exposed or in the dark. No privacy from the walker-bys. Also, coffe pot was a one cup french press. Needs to be a decent pot. Dinner at the restaurant. The stillness and quiet. The walks and the garden.
Disliked: No onsite restaurant or avaiable food for breakfast or lunch. No privacy curtains during the day.

Love Thurnham Hall my home...

Liked: 3rd visit to Thurnham a home from home when down working nearby lodges are great kitted out with all you need for self catering staff are superb and The Lemon Tree restaurant onsite is great too. This time I also visited Baber Elephant Indian Restaurant about 15 min drive but well worth it food was fabulous also the Stork just along the road great pub grub and atmosphere.

Great plan to come again

Lovely place to stay and...

Liked: I had a apartment with a Kitchen, Living Room, Bathroom and Bedroom. It was very clean and well equipped . The restaurant was very nice with a good selection of food. The staff were all very good.
Disliked: The only thing that I didn’t like was that they don’t do Breakfast

So good we immediately booked...

Liked: The setting of the hotel is beautiful. The grounds well maintained and offer activities for children and lovely sitting areas. Our 1 bed studio was spacious, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, very well equipped to meet our needs and furnished to a high standard.The staff were wonderful, so welcoming , friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant served excellent food and was great value for money, We made use of the leisure centre which was clean and well equipped with gym sauna and pool. The pool was a lovely temperature .A great hotel overall! So good we immediately booked to return as soon as we checked out!
