Thunderbird Lodge

There is a Mexican restaurant next door. It was OK food but was very convenient. Check-in staff was super nice and knowledgeable. I would stay there again but bring late night snacks.

Liked: Great location near the Cascade Theater.
Disliked: No convenience food located nearby after hours.

It was okay.

Liked: Location, easy access to freeway. The manager was accommodating.
Disliked: Clean, but a bit worn (scratches in furniture, etc.).

Expensive for an outdated motel....

Liked: Nice there was a fridge and microwave. Bed was comfortable.
Disliked: No customer service. The front office to check in and out is always locked. No one is there. You had to ring a door bell then you had to speak thru a little window.

Disliked: Room smelled like bleach. AC so loud I couldn't use it on a hot day

Liked: The room was spotless and the pool was clean. Great value for the money.
Disliked: No complaints whatsoever.

Liked: Our room was clean, all appliances in working order. The only downside to staying here if you have a pet who is used to grassy potty places, you will have to walk some distance up the street for your furbaby. Manager was very nice and helpful.
Disliked: Didn’t like hearing loud neighbor’s room tv and conversations.

Fantastic location + texts

Liked: The location was fantastic. Everything I needed was in walking distance. The staff was welcoming and friendly. I loved their texts. They made me feel they cared about making me comfortable and cared for.
Disliked: The room was on the first floor right near parked cars and a set of stairs to the second floor. People were noisy coming in and out. The room was sweltering when I arrived, the ac helped but took quite awhile to cool it down. I felt the rate was a little high for the room.
