Great Stay

Liked: We will stay here again. Mel at the front desk is a delight to talk to. The room was clean and comfortable. It is the best value in norman. If you are traveling from the SEC, stay here. I recommend staying on the second floor since it is a motel. This avoids headlights shining in your window and is quieter.

Thunderbird Lodge Norman OK

Liked: Terrific staff. Very nice shower. Everything was provided.
Disliked: Carpet was old and torn. TV was fuzzy and hard to see.

Liked: I thought it was a tremendous stay for the price. Room was extremely clean and well maintained. The staff was extremely helpful. Even when I got locked out of my room on night one!

Other than the price, good...

Liked: Didn't have breakfast if they were even serving it
Disliked: It looked like it was going thru some renovations cause it needed to be painted on some of the buildingsThe pool was not open, or even being used, it had no water in it

Good value for a pleasant...

Liked: The check in with reception was personable and quick. Mel gave us a warm welcome and was helpful with information and suggestions for local activities. The property is very well maintained, clean and quiet even though it was near a freeway. The kitchenette came equipped with the expected cookware and utensils. The beds are top quality and very comfortable.
