Passable

Liked: It's a fine place to stay. decently clean, OK Wifi, A/C, comfy bed. passable. We paid like $170 for two nights, which seemed high , but honestly with rates these days, that's probably a good price for downtown Vegas. the location is really awesome, like a 2-minute walk from the arts district, and well positioned between Fremont and the Strip.
Disliked: It took like 35 minutes to check in, and then our keys de-magnetized when we came back after getting food, and there were a ton of people in line again so it took like 45 minutes to get new keys and get back in the room. They seem to be running some sort of "hostel" for foreigners out of a side room, which leads to a bunch of chaos in the lobby. Other than that, it's just kind of a seedy area. But I've lived in Vegas for several years and it's sorta just how it goes.

Super Bad hotel, they even...

Liked: The location is good, but there are many homeless people in the area.
Disliked: The beds don't work, the room has a bad smell.

Poor

Liked: i liked the beds and desk.
Disliked: The whole place was dirty and we couldn't even use the pool. I Asked them to get the pool cleaned and they literally questioned me for asking, there was literally garbage in the pool and they never cleaned it the whole week i was there.

Exceptional

Liked: Thunderbird the most wonderful place for the value in Las Vegas. Rooms are very clean. Staff is friendly. Would be nice if they took Cash deposit. That would take them over the top!!! Neighborhood is being renovated also. Definitely my go too spot in Vegas for many years.
Disliked: No negatives. Other than it would be nice if they took Cash deposits. Would make extending stays so much easier!!!

Scary Neighborhood and go against...

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: It is a scary neighborhood and it is fishy as the hotel asks for personal info and takes a copy of passports and other confidential information which is not a good thing. Avoid it.
