Comfortable room but limited on...

Liked: 1. Hotel clean.2. Beds were comfortable.
Disliked: 1. No parking specifically for hotel guests so we had to park in the road as the carpark was full.2. We had to pass through a function room (looked to be a wedding party using it) to access our room, we were immediately confronted by a guest telling us it was a private party. It needs to be made clearer to day visitors that guests staying here have to walk through certain areas to access rooms!3. Wasn't keen on the shower, fixed head rather than a handheld option.

Lovely Cotswolds-edge village, comfortable but...

Liked: A lovely village location on the edge of the Cotswolds. Our room was comfortable and clean, a comfortable bed and good shower.
Disliked: We only ate one meal, dinner. The food was ok but not quite as described (a steak came without its sauce). We had a long wait, which was, I think, because their weekly Pudding Club was happening that night and there weren't enough staff on duty to cope with both that and guests in the dining room. There was only one duty manager who was waiting on us and also covering reception. I understand there were only two kitchen staff on duty.

Beyond our expectations, a hidden...

Liked: Incredible stay, the staff were beyond exceptional, attentive, professional and accommodating. The facilities were superb and sooooo dog friendly. Incredible Pudding Club room, uniquely designed and with a private garden and additional spacious and open garden grass area for our dog. The food and catering was sublime. Pub relaxed environment (and non dog) gorgeous restaurant. Glorious walks, good parking, local shop if needed. Can’t recommend enough. Definitely returning.
Disliked: Nothing. Everything was on point πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘

Liked: Nice to relax in the garden during the day. Food was very good.
Disliked: Noise levels were a little high at night and early morning. Although it was a busy bank holiday.
