Good
Liked: The speed of the service the room was nice although could have done with more milk
Disliked: The air conditioning turned itself on and was blowing hot air around the room for hours while we slept and woke up in a sweat box and the remote was ancient and didn't work well

Liked: very attractive Cotswold stone building. Nice room, good location
Disliked: Not too keen on buffet breakfasts but the food was delicious and the staff extremely helpful and friendly even though they were so busy

Disliked: decor is a quite dated, walls are thin could hear snoring from another room! We paid a lot so had higher expectations but I guess you are paying for location over anything!

Convenient, very friendly staff, comfortable
Liked: Comfortable room, with a small side room/dressing room
Disliked: The shower didn?t drain properly, which meant we had a bit of an overflow from the shower tray into the bathroom. The breakfast (at £15) is overpriced

Disappointing
Liked: Nothing really except our bedroom and en-suite were of a good size.
Disliked: The hotel generally appears to be run down. Our bedroom had a tired presence, a heavy duvet cover on the bed in the summer months is not the best for sleeping in warm weather. The waste receptacle to the side of the hotel was over-flowing when we arrived and remained so when we left after three days and generally the external areas were unkempt. We requested a restaurant menu on arrival and was informed that this was in the process of being typed up and that we would receive a copy shortly. No - no menu. On seeing this at dinner time it contained only three choices of main courses. Not acceptable. It is accepted that these are difficult times for the holiday industry, but if you are not going to provide the required standard as published then the cost of the booking should reflect the deficiencies.
