Not good value for money...

Liked: Room was clean, nice toiletries and teas etc provided. When I requested two duvets it was taken care of when I arrived.
Disliked: The 'superior' room window looked out to a blank fence and service area which was disappointing for the price I paid. I was staying for a wedding at the venue starting at 4pm, yet management would not budge on check-in time of 3pm even when I asked weeks in advance and they could have prepared the room early. Many of the guests who had travelled a long way for the wedding were rushed to get ready which is unfortunate on a special day.

Disappointing

Liked: There was a disturbing commotion in the middle of the night. Shouting and arguing in the corridor. Woke me up, very disturbing. A real shame. Is there any security??
Disliked: Woken up in middle of night. People walking up and down corridors shouting and arguing. No security at hotel. Very disturbing and worrying about security

Liked: Catering at the on site Pub and Restaurant. Good food. Excellent friendly service. Made to feel very welcome by all.
Disliked: Double bed not queen

Exceptional

Would definitely recommend this place...

Liked: Room facility was good and clean with modern shower/bathroom. Food was excellent and staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Disliked: The stay was excellent for our group. The only suggestion I can make is that it could be improved with a small gym section.

Liked: Enjoyed the food, very good, staff in bar, dining room very pleasant.
Disliked: The shower was faulty did report it, also very disappointed we couldn't use the spa, said only enough room for 1 person so didn't use, even if we paid to have a treatment they said we couldn't use the spa so wouldn't book it as a spa hotel again.
