Loved our stay and staff...

Liked: Spacious and well set out
Disliked: Nothing

Great hotel with friendly staff...

Liked: Reasonable hotel with very friendly helpful staff.
Disliked: The Filipino food on the menu was not good, the curry was just katsu curry and the street food was way too salty and I love a lot of salt, it looks pretty but tasted awful which was a shame. The roast is clearly what to go for and the fish and chips my Dad had were great!

More a pub stay but...

Liked: A lovely setting and staff were attentive.
Disliked: It was like a rabbit warren probably due to old and new buildings. More pub fare than a hotel. Could see why AA had given a 4 star rating.

It worked well for us...

Liked: Attractive building , very clean, lovely setting
Disliked: Unfortunately We didn’t like the location of the room, very hot, noisy motor ( to do with pool?). No view . Would have preferred some paper info rather than just QR codes .

Liked: Brilliant location surrounded by Peak District country views.Fascination Hotel & Spa, beautifully and interestingly designed complex of rooms at different levels and beautiful different garden areas.Friendly professional staff.Pub customers separated from restaurant diners.Large car park.Lovely bedroom with ensuite, beautifully decorated and very clean.Country style decor in the restaurant, but the food has a wonderful Asian dinners] a well as British classics.
Disliked: Several short staircases link the different levels, but there is a small lift that connects the same levels.This Inn is also a beautiful wedding venue (in a completely separate part of the hotel), so I do not know if the bar or restaurant service may be a little slower then.
