Pleasant renovated main building and...

Liked: Great breakfast and friendly staff. The new part of the hotel was very good and extremely beautiful. The new part of the hotel exceeded expectations. Location was excellent with easy travel to the city center and a vivid life in the evening with great and cheap bars. The old part we stayed in could have been better.
Disliked: The rooms in the old part of the hotel had no noise cancellation and the noise from the stairway was too loud. The construction work beginning at 06.00 made it impossible to be in the room after this time. For tall people the toilet was way too close to the wall making it impossible to use without the door open. The hotel did not provide any information about the renovation or construction work on their website.

Liked: This review is for room 111. Decent priced stay at a good spot to get around Prague. The bed was good enough comfort wise. The room itself is good size but felt and looked a bit dirty/dusty. If you are a larger person, you will have difficulties using the toilet as its very close to the wall. My only real complaint that could not be ignored is the shower does not drain quickly at all I did mention it to the staff when I checked out, hopefully they will have it fixed.
Disliked: This review is for room 111. It's currently Summer so the room gets hot. There is a fan that will help a bit and windows without screens so you'll probably gain a few mosquito and flies for visitors. The fan will also help mask the noise of neighbors, the walls and door are very thin you will hear a lot, and any other commotion in the hotel. The room itself is good size but felt and looked a bit dirty/dusty. If you are a larger person, you will have difficulties using the toilet as its very close to the wall. My only real complaint that could not be ignored is the shower does not drain quickly at all, even if you use minimum water: get wet, turn water off, soap up, and turn the water back on you'll be standing in ankle deep water. I did mention it to the staff when I checked out, hopefully they will have it fixed.

Disliked: Where we were staying was right opposite where building was taking place so it was very loud indeed from around 7am The room did not have air conditioning only a fan, this isn’t ideal in such hot weather

Liked: The staff were very helpful. We appreciated the 24 hour reception. Delicious breakfast at their adjoining hotel. The room was pretty clean, comfortable, spacious and good value for money. We used the public transport easily to reach the old town.
