Perfect stay!

Liked: We loved everything about Three Cranes, we booked late on the day but everything was sorted within the hour.
Disliked: The TV in the kitchen/diner needs to be on a extendable hinge.

Excellent value, excellent stay.

Liked: Really clean and comfortable - A home from home. The check in process was easy and sent in advance. Well equipped appartment with everything we needed, right in the centre of town. Kindly given details of the secure parking which was value for money and a very short walk to the hotel.Value for money was incredible.Response from owners to questions was prompt, professional, and friendly.Had a lovely time. Wouldn’t hesitate to visit again and would definitely recommend to friends.
Disliked: Nothing - it was perfect for us.

Unexpectedly disappointing

Liked: The property was clean and communications were very prompt.
Disliked: I am very sad to leave a bad review but I unfortunately was shocked at the property in light of the 4 star rating and all the positive reviews. The room felt like student accommodation, the bed was very small, the mattress was old, lumpy and creaky and the pillows and bedding was very poor quality. I’d go so far as to say that I wouldn’t be surprised if the mattress and pillows had been retrieved from the street. We stayed in one of the larger rooms but it was very cramped, the heating was on, it was extremely hot and the window would only open slightly due to the lock on it. The room smelt as if it had been smoked in. The towels were extremely poor quality and felt like dusting cloths rather than towels. The toiletries available consisted of one bottle of head and shoulders shampoo and the sponge in the kitchen was used and dirty. The door was thin with very little soundproofing. There was only one bowl and the kitchenware was very poor quality. All in all it was a very uncomfortable stay. While it was relatively inexpensive in London terms, for Sheffield and given the rating, I am at a loss as to how the property could fall so short of expectations.
