Excellent staff, cosy room, brilliant...

Liked: - Friendly, attentive staff. Really cared about us having a good stay. Opened the bar for us after it had closed. - Fantastic spa facilities which seemed to be popular with locals. - Clean, modern decor throughout the hotel and everything felt really well looked after. - Cosy room had everything we needed and you couldn’t hear the motorway which we were worried about before booking. - The location next to the M1 made it so easy for us to continue our travels. - The White Company toiletries gave the room a premium touch. - Buffet breakfast had a good range of items.
Disliked: Minor point - uncomfortable pillows.

Convenient but Overpriced

Liked: The hotel was very conveniently located for our needs and overall it’s a lovely hotel, albeit becoming very dated.
Disliked: It’s very expensive, and in my opinion overpriced, to stay here especially for what you get. The rooms are run down and dated and they have the audacity to charge for parking each day/night and not include anything in the price such as breakfast. The lift was broken during our entire week stay, and we were on the fourth floor with a baby. So, this wasn’t ideal at all but no compensation was offered for this. We didn’t use the spa, since this was an additional charge.

Disliked: The bathrooms in the rooms are showing there age

Nice place, a bit overpriced.

Liked: Lovely rooms, comfy beds and good facilities in the room
Disliked: The rooms were a bit overpriced for what the were. Then additional charges on top such as car park charge and entry to the spa. Not worth the upfront cost on the room alone.
