Liked: Lovely village. Friendly warm reception from Janet...room was well equipped, clean, fresh with beautifully large bed, with ensuite. Food was absolutely delicious, beautifully cooked and presented. Janet's sourdough bread is especially tasty.

Great location and warm welcoming...

Liked: We had the pleasure of staying at this delightful vegetarian B&B and it was absolutely lovely! From the moment we arrived, the friendly owners made us feel right at home with a warm welcome and a genuine smile. Our room was surprisingly spacious, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.Breakfast was a real treat, with a hearty vegetarian full English option, cereal, and fresh fruit – more than enough to set you up for a day of adventures and exploring. The location couldn’t be better, just a short walk to Robin Hood’s Bay, perfect for discovering this charming coastal village.Overall, it’s a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend!
Disliked: The only thing we would change was the bed – it was a little too firm for our liking, and not particularly forgiving on weary hiking legs! The mattress itself was a bit unyielding, although the bed was a great size. Just a bit more comfort would have been the cherry on top.

Liked: It was quite unique. Janet the owner was delightful and made sure we were well informed on the property and area. I particularly enjoyed looking round the wonderful garden.

Fabulous stay at Thorpe Green...

Liked: Our room was bright and spacious with a wonderful view. There was everything we needed, including a seating area and a lovely shower room. Janet is a wonderful host, she's friendly and welcoming and made our stay very comfortable.Breakfast was delicious, lots of choices Janet also makes her own sourdough bread! Janet and Steve's garden is stunning, we had lovely weather and managed to enjoy watching the sunset sitting in their garden. We hope to visit again soon.
