Very happy with our stay...

Liked: We liked the hotel especially cocktail bar. Enjoyed our evening meal very much. Breakfast good too. Nice short stay.

Disliked: Didn't appreciate checkout being so early and having to pay £15 for an extra one hour for a later checkout, especially having kids. Also I have never stayed in a hotel where you had to pay for slippers and a robe!!

Very enjoyable and relaxing

Liked: Staff were very friendly, the breakfast choice and food was excellent, the food in the restaurant was amazing, absolutely delicious. The Spa facilities were excellent. The bedrooms were very spacious, great facilities.
Disliked: The beds were lumpy

Liked: Stayed due to a wedding, which was amazing. The staff were fabulous. Breakfast was really good. Also had afternoon tea which was delicious
Disliked: Pillows are terrible and need replacing ... urgently. Carpets in the hotel need stains removed or replaced

Over priced, wouldn’t return.

Disliked: A bit over priced, living on its history a little probably, a bit tired. Older gentlemen staff were brilliant, younger ones not so keen to help a couple of times, asked for tea and biscuits on room service. Had a ham sandwich which was supposed to be served with chips but wasn’t, a bit steep at £17, not worth it. Apologies for being a little negative but the small things are important at this price.
