Beautiful place to stay.
Liked: Loved the place, the room and common areas were exceptional wished we had stayed longer.
Disliked: I have to laugh the terms and conditions say "We guarantee your Bed Chamber will be available to you from 3pm" not sure what the guarantee is worth given that we arrived prior to 3pm and didn't get shown to the room until about 3:15-3:20pm. Not that it was a problem and very happy with our stay.

Wow! Wow! Wow! A must...
Liked: The whole experience was exceptional. The hotel, staff, food and grounds were absolutely outstanding. We stayed in the Elizabeth of York suite and we had a fabulous break.Thank you for a truly memorable time. We will definitely revisit. Highly recommended.
Disliked: Everything was perfect in every way.

Liked: This hotel is amazing! The castle is beautiful, the rooms are nicely decorated and the grounds are nice
Disliked: There is only one dinner option, with a set menu. (But the food was fantastic)

Stunning weekend, weather played it's...
Liked: The location was excellent. A short 10 minute walk from the village. All the locals were very friendly and lots of quaint shops. Like small tardis'. Look small on the outside but go inside and they go very far back. Lots to buy, plenty of eateries. Very pleasant atmosphere outside. Back at the castle, amazing. Beautiful gardens and grounds. Staff amazing. The room we stayed in was absolutely epic. A state room as an anniversary treat was named after the original owner, Queen Margaret. Paperwork in the room with background history on the castle and herself. The interior was stunning. Just what a castle should be but with all mod cons.
