Comfortable hotel near station

Liked: Good location near the central station. Good value for Oslo and room was clean and comfortable. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Room was small, but fine for the price.

Comfortable convenient stay

Liked: Convenient to the train. Great breakfast.
Disliked: For some reason we couldn’t turn off the lights without turning off the master switch, so devices couldn’t charge overnight. The manager came and couldn’t figure it out either.

Bad summer stay, could be...

Liked: - centrally located - helpful reception staff
Disliked: - NO air conditioning, staff doesn’t see why guests need 2 fans in every rooms when 25 degrees +- average breakfast spread - no replenishment of bath consumables- maintenance work on doors ensure passage doors were closed (3rd floor, Friday morning)

Liked: When we finally got a room, it was pleasant and large.Good breakfast.
Disliked: When we arrived, room not yet available and staff did little to accommodate us.We were initially offered a very dark and dreary room on the ground floor. Then we were offered a room on a higher floor - but the elevator was broken so we would have had to climb a steep flight of stairs (both of us in our 80s, so that was difficult). We finally got a room that only required one flight of stairs while waiting for elevator repair. Some staff were helpful, but others seemed to prefer playing cards.The neighborhood is not especially appealing.
