Superb

Nice hotel with good buffet...

Liked: The property was very quiet and well located near a quiet pretty park. The buffet breakfast was very good with nice quality food - homemade jam very good - and a decent selection to choose from.
Disliked: There were some renovations works going on which didn’t cause any noise but were a distraction. The room facilities were clean of an ok standard for the price - but everything is expensive in Norway!

Perfect location to start exploring...

Liked: The location is amazing - right next to Palace Park, there's a train station nearby. Hotel was very clean, even though there were renovations going on (if I wasn't told, wouldn't even notice), staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was exceptional and always freshly made. The room was spacious, quiet, mini fridge was an excellent addition. Bed was very comfortable to sleep in.
Disliked: Didn't really notice anything negative about it.

Amazing, would recommend

Liked: The large room
Disliked: I stayed for 4 nights. My room wasn't cleaned at all at any time during my stay. I asked at reception one afternoon if my bathroom bin could be emptied only to be told housekeeping had finished for the day.I ordered a breakfast package for early morning departure, and in spite of reception staff locating the order on the system, it hadn't been made and sent up to reception for collection... which meant overpriced offerings at the airport.

Liked: All was perfect. The only downside I could say was that there were renovations in the hotel, so it had some noise from time to time, but nothing major.

Liked: We had a small kitchenette in our room which was a nice surprise and very useful. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic. One of the best we have had. So much choice and variety. It's really worth staying at the hotel for this alone. Location is very good, right near the palace.
Disliked: Nothing.
