A place to return

Liked: This hotel was my best choice of this year (or decade) Everything was just perfect and the price was very very OK for this service.It was easy to find it, it’s in the city center (or close to it), about 10-15-20 min walk from the train and bus station, and the port too.Everybody was polite, friendly, patient and nice. The guy who checked in before me, asked the receptionist inappropriate questions that were beyond the control of the hotel, but the receptionist tried to help him as much as she could in a friendly and polite manner.The room was clean and quiet and comfortable. There were a kettle and coffee and tea in my room, but no cup or mug, but I found glass in the bathroom. I would prefer a separate cup for the tea. There was a small chocolate with the hotel’s logo too. I guess it’s good, but I do not want to eat it, yet. I keep it as a lovely memory. The breakfast was a bufet. It was rich and you can choose whatever you want. Sweet and salty, cold and cooked, everything. There were „free from” options too. As a vegetarian I had no problem to find soooo many things to eat. There were non-vegetarian food too, I just ignored them, I can’t tell how it was.I was on my own, but I saw happy, smiling, satisfied families, so I guess it’s a family friendly hotel. I could leave my luggage in a storage for free, until my train left, so on my last day in Oslo, I could have a lovely and comfortable walk in the city without carrying heavy bags.If I come back to Oslo I will definitely choose this hotel again.
Disliked: I could not open the window. The air and the temperature were good in the room, but I feel uncomfortable if I cannot open the window. Anyway in the corner I found a fan, what I was happy for, but I didn’t have to use it. The TV was too big to me, and there was a gap about 15mm only, between the TV and the bathroom’s door, so I always worried about it, but it was OK. I did not use the TV at all, so to me it would be better without it, but it’s only me.

Liked: Lage, Frühstück
Disliked: The hotel's location is very good; I was able to walk from Central Station, though it's a bit uphill but manageable. The hotel is very uncomfortable, the beds and hygiene were very poor. While 32 degrees is scorching even for Oslo, the air conditioners didn’t work, and I experienced heatstroke in the room. The only perfect thing was the breakfast. Think of it this way: you're paying that price for an uncomfortable room and an excellent breakfast. The evaluation is up to you

Would stay here again.

Liked: very simple but confortable and great value.
Disliked: a bit more staff wouldve been good aroung 3pm checkin time to prepare rooms and get visitors checked in. There was a traffic jam and a bit more waiting than ideal.

Liked: Great location and excellent breakfast. Good value for this money.

i would recommend this hotel,...

Liked: Everything was fine, the beds were comfortable, brekfast was good,
Disliked: the trash not taken out (when we checked in) and the toilet not flushed was anticlimactic.
