very convenient and comfortable hotel

Liked: my room was super quiet - didn't have a view but I was very happy it was quiet. location was great, right on the beautiful lake and an easy walk to get everywhere. Breakfast was great.
Disliked: the shower cubicle was quite strange.

Liked: Location was excellent. Close to everything in the town centre and the bus station. Breakfast was excellent for a city hotel. Free tea and coffee in the lobby area was very nice. Good shower in the room and good room size for a superior double. Opening windows in the room was useful for ventilation and the air conditioning worked well at night.
Disliked: Really unpleasant odour on the 5th floor corridor especially at the far end close to our room. Not sure what it was but it was persistent. No odour inside our room though. Bed in the room was worn out. It had been repaired from what I believe was a broken frame. First time ever we were trapped in the lift on the way down to check out, stuck between floors as the lift juddered to a halt. Luckily the lift alarm worked and the engineer and front desk staff helped free us in under half an hour. Quite an exciting morning!

Great location, clean and quiet,...

Liked: Great location. Clean, comfortable room. Quiet. Lovely breakfast.
Disliked: Long, zigzagging, claustrophobic corridors. Fire alarm went off at 10pm one night and the evacuation was not well organized. Also lost power on a different night, so no lights in crazy long corridors. And no staff plan on what do to help guests.

Good hotel for reasonable budget

Liked: Nice decor, quiet, clean, friendly staff and excellent breakfast. A solid choice for a 3 star hotel.
Disliked: Very small body towels. Bed was too soft.

Great stay in Stavenger!

Liked: I liked almost everything at this hotel. The staff were really kind and helpful, 5 stars for the staff!The hotel had a great lounge with complimentary tea/coffee/water which was a great space to relax a bit and enjoy reading a book.The breakfast was really amazing with lots of options.Finally the location was simply superb!
Disliked: I think the only thing that put me off a bit was realising my room, although on the 3rd floor, was actually at street level next to a road and boardwalk for people. But I also have to admit that actually most of the noise that bothered was from the hotel corridor with people coming and leaving from rooms talking a bit loud.I also kind of wished to have a restaurant or bar at the hotel that wouldn't force me to go out searching for place to eat when I was too tired. It only had a little fridge near the reception with some snacks that you could purchase but wasnt quite right.

My go-to, when in Stavanger

Liked: Location and atmosphere are very cozy. Great breakfast and very friendly stuff.
