Thon Hotel Høyers

Quite nice place snd excellent...

Liked: Breakfast was great although i think it was possible to order omelettes but no one was around
Disliked: A bit annoying with the toilet on one side and the sink on the other.

Highly recommended place to stay...

Liked: Excellent hotel within easy walking distance to local attractions and the Telemark Canal cruise berth. Our room was spacious, very comfortable and had a harbour view. Our included breakfast provided delicious options. Waterfront restaurants and bars were only a short walk away.
Disliked: Staying in this hotel will be even more pleasant when the town square construction work out front is completed.

Excellent location and provided all...

Liked: The friendly staff made our group very welcome. Calling taxis was a good system and all payments were easy.The wide variety of breakfast dishes was amazing. There was also very good food in a limited dinner menu.
Disliked: Until arrival, I was unaware that the area infront of the hotel was being dug up and pipes replaced below the road.

OK APART FROM THE ABOVE...

Liked: BOTH OF THESE WERE GOOD .MY ONLY NEGATIVE FEED BACK WAS WITH THE EVENING MEAL MENU WHICH WAS UNCHANGED FOR THE FIRST FEW DAYS OF OUR STAY AND WHEN WE ASKED FOR IT TO BE CHANGED WE WERE TOLD THAT IT STAYED THE SAME THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER SEASON WHICH WE THOUGHT WAS VERY ODD AND NOT REALLY AQCCEPTABLE IF ONE IS STAYING FOR A FEW DAYS. AS A RESULT WE BEGAN TO EAT OUT OF THE HOTEL...ONLY ON OUR LAST NIGHT WAS THE MENU CHANGED !!!
Disliked: MASSIVE ROAD WORKS RIGHT OUTSIDE THE HOTEL!!

Everyone in the hotel was...

Liked: Old style hotel in quiet town, comfortable room in the attic.
Disliked: The enormous television taking so much space in the small bedroom.
