Liked: Excellent location - close to the metro and right in the heart of the European Quarter. It was a nice touch to receive a small gift from the manager — a jar of Belgian honey.
Disliked: Some surfaces in the room (such as the phone, lamp, and remote) were a bit dusty.

Liked: The receptionists were all very friendly and kind, and they had excellent manners toward the guests.
Disliked: There were three things that I found absolutely unacceptable.First, right after I arrived, I had lunch at the restaurant and ordered a fish dish. The fish was completely spoiled and had a strong, rotten smell. When I complained to one of the blonde white waitresses, she stubbornly insisted, “It’s fresh.” I’m Japanese and grew up eating fresh raw fish, so I can immediately tell if fish is fresh or spoiled. I told her this, and she eventually let me order something else, but she never once apologized, which really surprised me. I could have gotten food poisoning.Second, while I was having breakfast at the same restaurant, I saw the same white waitress refilling the orange juice machine with fresh oranges. She dropped some of the oranges on the floor—but instead of washing them, she just put them back into the tray. I was shocked. Doesn’t she have any sense of decency?Third, while the bed was okay, the pillow was completely filled with cheap foam or some kind of synthetic stuffing, and it was so uncomfortable that I ended up having a nightmare. I tend to have nightmares when the pillow doesn’t suit me.I don’t think I will ever stay at this hotel again. A hotel with a restaurant that offers such third-rate service is simply not worth the price.
