Liked: The building, the decoration was nice.
Disliked: The pool was dirty and the pool patio was messy. The main reason I booked this hotel was pool, it was a disappointment. The room smell dirty, a really strong dog smell and dog hairs on the floor. It seemed like they didn’t clean it. It is not family friendly or kid friendly.

Updated, clean, masculine style, great...

Liked: Everything was clean and updated. The staff were very nice and accommodating. Armando was exceptionally helpful and friendly when we were packing up to leave.
Disliked: There's a lot of construction going on right there, so it wasn't easy getting to the hotel or parking unless you use a valet. There's no shuttle available for nearby activities and shopping so we walked in the hot, rainy weather a lot to avoid the parking/construction issues. Not a reason to not stay here, just unfortunate.

Liked: The staff and property are quite nice. The location is okay. There are places with better views.
Disliked: It is a great pain talking to their billing people. They put so many extra charges on my credit card that need to be taken off. They put pending charges for 4 rooms when I only had 2 rooms. People should know the valet costs 60 dollars a night before booking. If I ever stay here again, it’ll be cash only or nothing.

Pleasant stay

Liked: The room was very comfortable and the ambiance in the lobby is lovely.Any staff we met up with were very friendly.We liked the complimentary green apples on the accommodation floor.
Disliked: We arrived after a long flight hoping to have a swim but there was a pool party going on with what seemed like 50 young people with cocktails and a band so pool time was off the agenda.The restaurant disappointed us - for breakfast my poached eggs were totally overcooked served along side cold toast (not just cooled down but stone cold as in perhaps it had been cooked a few hours ago). Given the vibe of the hotel I was surprised not to see any free range, organic, grass fed.... The dinner menu is somewhat limited in range. I had a fillet steak which was tasty but super expensive given it was not grass fed. Expensive pricing without the follow through.

Romantic getaway done right

Liked: I was extremely impressed with the front desk staff, I spoke to Shay who was the night time receptionist and she was very generous, polite and understanding to all my needs and requests. the hotel staff accommodated my special request for my partner superbly and surprised even myself. The suite was excellent and everything was so neat and tidy, my partner's reaction to the suite made everything worth it.
Disliked: I thought the location could be better. The hotel is positioned just on the outskirts of central down town but you wouldn't know that in advance. I also think the facilities such as the bar and restaurant had inconsistent opening and closing times or perhaps it felt they closed too early.
