Liked: Everything was just exceptional! Probably the best guest house we stayed so far. Sue and Avril were awesome! Room was spotless and breakfast was fabulous! We loved the place so much that we extended our stay about one night and hopefully we will be back soon. Juraj & Zlata

Best and most beautiful stay...

Liked: Really tidy, clean and comfortable stay. The best we had during our travelling through Scotland. The lady of the house welcomed us with tea by the fireplace. She also recommended a really nice restaurant to have dinner.

Thistle house is a fantastic...

Liked: Sue and Avril are excellent hosts. They made sure our stay was perfect. Fantastic breakfast, with fresh produce and tasted amazing. This is our second visit, and will definitely return next year as the location is perfect. Highly recommended for a quiet,relaxed, comfortable, and luxurious stay.
Disliked: There is nothing to not like. Its just perfect.

Liked: We were very pleased that the atmosphere in Thistle House has remained unchanged even after more than 5 years. We once again felt like we were being taken into a warm hug, which of course was also thanks to the lovely hosts. We will definitely come back and are looking forward to our next visit.

A fabulous stay in a...

Liked: We had an absolutely lovely stay for 2 nights. Sue and Avril were exceptional hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The room overlooking Loch Fyne was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The welcoming coffee and cakes sitting in the sunshine overlooking the Loch was an unexpected surprise and set the tone for the duration of our stay. Breakfast was fabulous local produce cooked freshly to order and offered a lovely selection. We highly recommend this accommodation and will most certainly revisit .
