Liked: Thistle Hill is perfect for a large group. The spaces are lovely, the bedrooms are warm, quiet and very comfortable. The fire pits were a hit and the kitchen dining area is very well equipped for dinner parties.
Disliked: Nothing

Perfect for a weekend getaway

Liked: Easy process to gain access to facility. Site and Room was well presented, friendly staff.
Disliked: Stay was too short :)

Liked: Changed a lot since we first stayed. There was no staff around the entire weekend, they no longer host the breakfasts in the dining room, the cottage feels very dated compared to the rooms in the main house, the sealing on the nightlight in the bathroom wasn’t working and mozzies and cobwebs everywhere inside the house.

Disliked: Shower did not work. Little to no pressure and the hot water did not work properly Tv remote did not workNo staff on site. When contacted staff about concerns on leaving they basically after a lot of back and forth denied there was any of the issues we experienced. And just kept saying we should have told them prior - however we were flat out all weekend and did not have time to wait around for repairs during a weekend and late night.
