Quiet and comfortable, familiar place.

Liked: Really lovely helpful front of house staff sharing their glasses to watch the eclipse!
Disliked: Bar closed and kitchen both closed at 10pm. My son got in from a late flight from New York and hadn't had anything to eat or drink. Brusque and dismissive response from the restaurant manager.

Disliked: I booked a king bed and they gave me 2 separate beds. I told the front desk about it and they didn’t do anything. I ended up overpaying and not getting what I wanted

Overcharged my credit card

Liked: The hotel was good in general but they charged my credit card more than the final bill that they printed for me. I contacted them twice for them to correct the overcharge and never responded. My full impression is not terrible because of this
Disliked: They overcharged my credit card. At check out, I asked for the final bill and they said “not to worry, since they would charge my card”. They actually charged $40 dollars extra compared to the final bill they printed for me.

Liked: Great proximity to UMiami! Very chic hotel with attentive staff. We were very comfortable here.
Disliked: Only con was that there was a bit of noise in our room that seemed to be coming from the roof or upper level. But it did not keep us awake or disturb us.
