Disliked: The hotel does not have a bar. If you want a drink, you have to sit in the reception hall, which is not very cozy.

Grand splendour a little frayed

Liked: Grand building located right on the beach
Disliked: I needed to do some work after checking out of the room and there didn’t seem to be any where to get a tea or coffee and set up a laptop. I did my work at some tables by reception but it wasn’t comfortable and felt more like a transit hub than a lounge and I can’t recall any other hotel where they don’t have a lounge for use after checking out
