Great location and v smart...

Liked: Lovely classic elegance and first class staff - especially Harry looking after breakfast
Disliked: Very small rooms. Claimed to be 18m but barely reached 16m

Great hotel but unhappy with...

Liked: Excellent breakfast selection/Harry and staff very welcoming. Room small but very clean with an amazing modern shower room/toilet. Excellent reception staff and location great.
Disliked: Everything was great until 6.30am this morning,. 6th May. We were awakened with a jolt by the extremely loud noise of the industrial bottle bins being taken out to be emptied. Our room, (110) was immediately above the bin area!! The noise was extreme, and continued until 6.50am. Bin collection day I assume to be every Tuesday morning, although it had been a bank holiday Monday the previous day.

Liked: Hotel beautiful and clean, staff friendly , excellent location, very good value for money.
Disliked: Not been able to book a parking space for our arrival and check in quite late.Husband not very good on his feet which meant a lot of walking even though Hotel very central.

Exceptional

Best overall stay in town.

Liked: Everything in one place; cocktails, dinner, breakfast, outdoor seating, nice ambience.
Disliked: Hallway carpets soft but hard to push suitcase along. Lifts are small.
