Liked: Lovely location. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. The room was absolutely immaculate.
Disliked: The people staying next to us were very noisy. They had friends over and kept us awake until around 4 in the morning. They then woke us up at 7 when they got out.

Liked: The rooms were clean, bright, warm and cosy.Well stocked.Lovely bedding, immaculate.The food was outstanding value for money, staff fantastic.Owners could do any more for us
Disliked: To be really honest, thete was NOTHING we didn't like.

Liked: The staff were kind and helpful on arrival once I found out where and who to speak to. No real direction to a reception.
Disliked: Noisy, I could hear everything outside and noise from rooms next door. Struggled to sleep.I had to call staff a little while after arrival because the room had no soap for the shower. I was then handed hand soap to use to wash with. I expressed I would not have paid £90 for a room there if I couldn’t even get something a small as soap to use to wash my body in the shower. At that point the staff member went and found some bodywash for me. She was very kind but clearly had no training or direction from management with regards to this.

Liked: this was a great stop for exploring the forest of dean and seeing the severn bore. the staff were friendly attentive and flexable about times and food requests portions were generous and breakfast was very good
Disliked: Im an instant coffee fan so the pod machine was not my thing.
