Located a few minutes from Scarborough's beaches and with ample parking this elegant country house is set in acres of private grounds on the edge of the North York Moors National Park boasting breath-taking views across the Yorkshire countryside. Wrea Head is surrounded by heather-filled moors and scenic dales to the spectacular Yorkshire heritage coastline. Bedrooms are individually and classically designed some with four-poster beds and all with pleasant views over the gardens. Guests at Wrea Head will have an private bathroom and TV and tea/coffee-making facilities in their room. The 1881 Restaurant is lit by gilt wall lights set above polished oak paneling with views over the gardens and up to the moors. In the warmer months guests can enjoy drinks on the terrace or cocktails in the bar's bay window. The town of Scarborough is only a 10-minute drive away.

Pleasant stay with fond memories...

Liked: Beautiful setting and surroundings
Disliked: Could do with better night lights in the bedroom, iron, some storage space in the bathroom for toiletries.Breakfast should include more fresh fruits

Three days that rounded off...

Liked: Quiet and peaceful location. High quality accommodation. Very friendly, charming and attentive staff.
Disliked: In room 31 the tea cups were too big for the saucers so it was qute tricky to balance a full cup on the saucers.

Very nice break indeed.

Liked: Absolutely beautiful settings. Staff were 10/10. Absolutely charming, helpful, professional & friendly. And knowledgable too. Very beautiful settings and very clean too. Very comfortable bed indeed
Disliked: Breakfast was a touch poor for a £260 a night!!. Very limited selection indeed. No fridge (minibar ) in the room. No complementary slippers or shower hat

Disliked: Wish we had known when booking that we wouldn’t be in the actual hotel but another building a short walk away

Gorgeous place to stay just...

Liked: The place is beautifully maintained inside and out, with lovely gardens. The owners clearly do not skimp on anything.The room, restaurant, bar and service were all excellent. A hidden gem so close to Scarborough.
