Liked: We had a phone call the day before we arrived just to confirm everything and to tell us we were very welcome to drop of luggage at our convenience and not wait until arrival time. We had a lovely welcome on arrival , the children were made a big fuss of. The room was massive which was a big bonus when you have two young children. The decor to the hotel is beautiful . Fabulous breakfast

Very good

Liked: Staff, food, ambience were all excellent. The hotel was comfortable, warm and welcoming. The location although outside of Saundersfoot was I thought perfect for a peaceful get away. The grounds were well laid out and attractive to sit in and enjoy a relaxing drink. The food in the restaurant was varied and well presented with an exciting menu to choose from. Staff could not do enough for you and were very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions.
Disliked: On the downside we felt our room was tucked away on the ground floor next to the kitchen and dining room with no aspect from the window. However the room was clean and comfortable.

We had a fantastic stay...

Liked: Great location! The staff were incredibly friendly and breakfast was great! Loved how dog friendly it was and our dogs were made to feel very welcome. Comfortable beds and a good shower. Coffee/tea etc and Welsh cakes in our room! Ample parking and the decor in hotel/restaurant was lovely!
Disliked: The outdoor area near play-area needed a little TLC but this didn’t affect our stay at all. Just an observation :)

Liked: Clean and great breakfast
Disliked: Mattress thin and uncomfortable in the Japan room , walls undulated , could hear next room using the toilet and chatting . Nothing nearby but bar man closed the bar at 10 pm on a Friday night at the end of July without telling any of the residents who were outside that he was going doing so and when questioned made out that it was due to licensing restrictions .

Perfect anniversary break

Liked: Lovely hotel for our anniversary stay. Room was beautiful, staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Gorgeous meal in the restaurant next door.

Fantastic and home from home

Liked: How welcoming and helpful front of house were, the two ladies at reception and staff in the restaurant went above and beyond. Food was also amazing
