Liked: A Disappointing Stay Despite Beautiful Grounds and Friendly StaffWhile the resort property was stunning and the staff were generally friendly, my family and I encountered several significant issues during our stay that negatively impacted our experience.When we arrived and checked into our room, we discovered it had not been cleaned properly. There was hair on the floor and in the shower, as well as drug paraphernalia left on the balcony, which had not been swept. After a long road trip, we chose not to raise these concerns initially, as we simply wanted to relax and unwind.Additional issues arose with billing. The resort authorized an incidental fee which was expected considering most hotels so. However, they also added a resort fee of 142.40 that had already been included in my booking through a third-party site.Another concern involved housekeeping. During our stay, we purchased food off-site and brought it back to the room. Later, after leaving briefly, we returned to find that housekeeping had entered our room without a request and discarded our food. I reported this to the on-duty manager, Emma, who apologized and provided a credit of $98.90 to compensate for the food and the initial cleanliness issues. Now imagine someone charging you a fee that was not owed and then reimbursing you from that same fee your own money. That they were not supposed to have charged in the first place. To be clear I was never reimbursed for my food.Unfortunately, further complications arose. I later noticed a charge of $142.40 on my card on file. When I contacted the resort on March 24,2025, I spoke with the director, Miss Izzy, who seemed unaware of the prior incidents. Despite the charge appearing on my account, she insisted that the resort had not charged the resort fee of 142.40. Even while I am looking at the charge and the employee with who I spoke prior to her stated on my recorded line, that you all charged it but caught it.

Liked: The location was nice. Pool waiter Josh was wonderful!
Disliked: For the money spent to stay there it should have been cleaner and updated. Rooms with old and dirty chair. Carpet ripped. Stain on duvet cover.
