Good food but sleepless night

Liked: The en-suite shower room was well appointed and roomy. The lighting in the room was good. The food in the restaurant was great (haggis, neeps and tatties!) and it was a nice room to be in. Breakfast was good and service great.
Disliked: My bed had an old fashioned spring mattress on a wooden board base and was very uncomfortable.

Liked: We went to the murder mystery wkend the food was great the actors were great and omg I have had the best sleep here ever. We had a television in the bathroom was great and a balcony to smoke on, save us from going downstairs. They also were letting us stay on an extra hour free of charge great. Also near shops and stuff

Quite a nice hotel but...

Liked: Nice traditional breakfast. Served to order and not buffet style
Disliked: Very small room with rattling radiators which badly needed bleeding and wonderful view of the hotel air conditioning pipework. Avoid room 36 at all costs. See photo attached.
