The largest and most impressive hotel in Whitley Bay centrally located on South Parade the Windsor is located within sight of the sea on the scenic Northumbrian coast. The hotel's Bazil Brasserie offers an extensive menu and daily specials where you can enjoy quality international dishes and fine wines in elegant and comfortable surroundings. Recently acquiring an accolade from the RAC dishes here draw from fresh regional produce. A full English and continental breakfast are also available. The Garden conference room can seat up to 80 delegates and is equipped with the latest audio visual technology including a digital projector and DVD player. Should have been good value......

Liked: Location near the front.Street parking was handy.
Disliked: Room on front with night club across street.Staff member let themselves into our room after we had gone to bed!All in all a disturbed night.

Liked: It's amazing value location amazing for me and my children and my boys autistic and its his favourite hotel to come too thankyou
Disliked: The only minor thing is the TV could do with upgrade but understandable for the price its amazing value

An enjoyable stay with family...

Liked: Location excellent. Staff friendly. Breakfast good and filling. Clean and tidy. Room a big size. Price correctly.
Disliked: Facilities dated and whole hotel needs upgrading.

Disappointing

Liked: Bathroom with bath
Disliked: Rooms almost too hot to sleep, windows sealed shut, nightclub across the road, Nescafe Original instant coffee. Played Solitaire from 1200 to 2am because I couldn't sleep. We almost cancelled after the first of the 2 nights.

Poor

Liked: Great location, really comfy bed.
Disliked: Room and corridor stank of stale cigarettes and there was cannabis being smoked.It felt dirty and not like a hotel!

Disappointing

Liked: Clean . Spacious bathroom. Great location.
Disliked: Clean and comfortable but very hot, no fan or sheet provided .Oposite a nightclub - very rowdy till 2am then people were noisy in the hotel too. So sound proofing poor. We weren't warned or given a room away from the club. We just didn't sleep. No black out curtains. Staff knew noise was an issue. Only one bedside lamp.
